2000 subaru forester review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. There's no need to drive a truck. introductionthough it provides cargo utility and off-highway capability, the subaru forester is not a sport-utility vehicle in the traditional sense. It drives more like a car than a truck. There's nothing to fear from snow, mud, dirt, gravel or wet pavement with subaru's well-designed suspension and excellent all-wheel-drive system. Forester is available with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.  two trim levels are available: l and s.  forester l 20,295) comes with a high level of standard equipment, which includes air conditioning, power windows, power locks, fog lights, roof rack, rear window defogger, trailer harness connector, reclining front bucket seats with adjustable lumbar support, tilt steering, am/fm/cassette stereo and a cargo tray. Because it isn't nearly as tall as a sport-utility, it's much easier to load a kayak, a set of skis and other car-top gear onto the roof.  the body was reinforced substantially for 1999 to improve side-impact protection. Seats and seat belts were modified for improved safety and the airbag system was revised. interiorseating height in the forester is comparable to that of a sedan. We don't see this as a negative. Being closer to the ground means a lower center of gravity for better handling. Visibility is excellent, a benefit of a low hood and large windshield. Controls are easy to operate, instruments are straightforward and easy to read. Interior trim comes in softer, warmer fabrics than the toyota rav4, though it lacks the design elegance and refinement of the honda cr-v. It's easy to load cargo into the back; the rear gate lifts out of the way and a rubber cargo mat protects the interior. Heated front seats, heated outside mirrors, windshield wiper deicers make the forester feel at home in the snow and ice. driving impressionit's fun to drive, a phrase that doesn't apply to trucks in quite the same way. With horizontally opposed pistons, subaru's 2. 5-liter 4-cylinder engine is much shorter than a traditional inline-4. That left more room for people and cargo. It also allowed subaru's engineers to mount the engine farther forward in the car and use equal-length driveshafts aligned directly with the front wheels, which eliminates torque steer and reduces driveline friction. It also permitted a low hood design for excellent visibility out front and a low center of gravity for improved handling balance in corners.  the 4-speed automatic is responsive and a good match for the engine. The automatic was extensively modified for 1999 for improved efficiency. The 5-speed manual makes it more fun to drive and provides more precise control. It shifts like a compact sedan and the clutch is light and easy to use. The pedal arrangement allows the forester to be driven like a sports sedan and this makes it more enjoyable on mountain roads and dirt trails.  on the road, the forester drives like a car. It also holds its own against most sedans. It provides superb traction and balance on slippery pavement. Hitting big bumps in the middle of a turn won't upset the handling. The forester provides better steering response in transient maneuvers than what's available in the rav4 and cr-v.  subaru makes one of the best all-wheel-drive systems in the world, rivaled only by porsche and audi. Subaru designed the forester using technology gained by racing rally cars over treacherous roads in africa, asia and europe. Subaru learned to cope with adverse conditions, winning the highly competitive world rally championship three years in a row. About the size of a grapefruit, the transfer system adds little weight. Designed for blasting through snow and mud, the system does not have a low-range set of gears, so it is not suitable for creeping up steep rocky faces. The rav4 and jeep wrangler are much better suited for rock climbing. The forester, however, is quite capable of carrying a trout fisherman to a remote stream and it's perfect for heading to the ski slopes.  its long, soft springs and stiff shocks allow lots of controlled wheel travel, so bumpy corners don't upset the handling balance. A generous 7. 5-inch ground clearance allows it to tread places a sedan cannot go. Anyone who needs to haul gear down marginal roads should seriously consider the subaru forester. model lineupl 20,295); s 22,895). assembled ingunma, japan. options as testedautomatic transmission 800); premium package 1,000) includes side-impact airbags, color-keyed bumpers with step pads, color-keyed bodyside cladding, power moonroof, aluminum alloy wheels with gold accents. model testedforester s 22,895). 2008 ford escape review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. One of ford's best gets better. introductionthe ford escape has been thoroughly updated for 2008, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it america's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. The escape's standard safety features are upgraded significantly for 2008.  we'd call the escape a little truck among small suvs. Its new styling deliberately invokes ford's larger, truck-based expedition and explorer sport-utilities. Escape's ride height and seating position are a bit higher than competitors such as the honda cr-v, and it can tow up to 3,500 pounds, which is substantially more than most other vehicles in the class.  yet the ford escape still delivers the advantages of unit-body, car-based competitors such as the honda cr-v. All variants, including the v6 and escape hybrid, deliver some of best epa mileage ratings in the class. All, including the gas-electric hybrid, are offered with either front- or all-wheel drive. For the most part, the hybrid drives just like a conventional gas-only escape. It's a well-executed package. Folding the rear seats opens a good sized cargo area with a flat floor, and space behind the seat surpasses that in the trunk of the typical sedan. Interior storage options have improved considerably. The finish is more upscale and pleasing, and feature function and switches are among the best.  safety features that were extra-cost options on lower-trim models are now standard across the board, including ford's roll stability control system. Escape now sets the class benchmark for safety features.  there's a ford escape model for most tastes and needs. Dollar for feature, ford escape prices have dropped considerably the past few years. The premium for the escape hybrid has also decreased. It's now less than $2,000 more than a comparably equipped limited.  the ford escape remains one of the more appealing vehicles in its class, regardless of price, and certainly one of the better values. The xls comes with cloth upholstery, air conditioning, power windows, mirrors and locks, an am/fm stereo with cd and auxiliary jack, rear window defroster and 16-inch steel wheels.    the escape xlt 20,880) and xlt 4wd 22,360) add more standard features, including upgraded cloth upholstery, a power driver's seat, cruise control, privacy glass and 16-inch alloy wheels. The cargo convenience group 395) includes a retractable cargo area cover and a compartmentalized rear storage bin. The audiophile package 695) includes a high-power stereo with seven speakers, subwoofer and the in-dash cd changer. The limited luxury package 795) adds dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats and a back-up warning system. The audiophile and navigation package 2,695) includes the stereo upgrade and ford's touch-screen navigation system; in the hybrid, it also adds a meter that graphically and immediately demonstrates the benefits of hybrid drive, and helps the driver maximize fuel economy. Other options include cruise control 225), cd changer 295), a power moonroof 795), floor mats 55), 16-inch alloy wheels 375), 17-inch chromed wheels 695), and a class ii towing package 345).  safety features have been upgraded substantially for 2008, making equipment that was previously optional on lower trim levels standard across the board, and setting the class benchmark for small sport-utilities. Passive safety features include front- and side-impact airbags for front occupants and curtain-type head protection airbags for all outboard seats. The side curtains can remain inflated for several seconds in the event of a rollover, and are designed to slide between the side glass and occupants if the people are oddly seated or resting heads against a window. Rsc adds a second gyroscopic roll-rate sensor to the typical stability control package, measuring the escape's roll angle and roll rate and applying countermeasures (such as braking one of the wheels or reducing power) to increase rollover resistance. walkaroundthe 2008 ford escape has been re-styled more thoroughly than a quick glance might suggest. None of its major body panels are common to previous models, but the redesign is evolutionary and the most obvious changes are in the details, or jewelry, as designers call them. In an impressionistic way, the new escape will look familiar to those who have owned previous escapes, or those who pay attention to what others drive.  as such, the new escape has the air of a conventional, truck-based suv, with a more rugged look than many other small, sedan-platform sport-utilities such as the honda cr-v. For starters, escape sits a bit higher than many competitors (8. 1 inches of ground clearance), and the high profile is enhanced by its design.  the new grille looks like it was designed for a truck. The headlights are essentially connected to the grille, and shaped to create a family resemblance with ford's edge crossover suv. Yet the grille itself is tall and flat and stacked right on top of a skid plate-type fascia that flows under the bumper. Escape's beltline, or the crease that runs just under the windows, is high, too, and its roof pillars are blacked out. The taillights have a clear band that wraps around the rear corners. The lower bumpers and rocker panels are now painted to match the body on all models, rather than molded in a matte finish. In total, the effect is cleaner and more polished than previous models, and it's all quite handsome.  the trim levels are easy to distinguish from the front of the car. The base escape xls has a chrome grille and body-colored fascia from the bumper down. The xlt is identical, except for prominent fog lights in the front bumper. This adds the chrome grille and more, with brightwork flowing down into the skid plate and bumper. It looks like a big, shiny t on the front of the vehicle.  some changes to the new escape are functional more than aesthetic. The side mirrors are larger than before, but ford claims their shape generates less noise as air speeds over them. The roof, too, is designed to reduce interior noise. Recessed channels running its length are intended to move air more quietly over the surface. Horizontal ribs underneath the panel add structure, which limits flex in the metal and reduces booming noise inside at high speeds.  we're fond of a couple of features in back of the escape. A new step pad on the bumper provides secure footing for anyone who steps up to put something on the roof rack, and the two-piece tailgate is handy. The rear glass can be popped open with the key fob, so dropping small items like a gym bag into the cargo area is much easier than it might be with some competitors, which require hefting the entire gate upward. interiorthe 2008 ford escape interior is all new, and we like it. It's not significantly roomier or a leap forward in design, but it's well thought out and well executed. It's a definite improvement in ergonomic function and overall visual appeal, and it makes a nicer place to spend time.  this is one of ford's best interiors in years in terms of the look and feel of materials used. It looked like the lacquered finish on a fine piano. The satiny black or silver used in lower trim levels isn't bad, either. 2011 ford escape review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. The ford escape is a mid-size sport-utility vehicle with credentials that make it equally suited to urban commutes or weekend off-road outings. The xlt and limited trims feature the same 2. 5-liter engine with a six-speed automatic transmission. A 240-hp 3. 0-liter v6 is an available upgrade on limited models. Standard safety features include front airbags, front seat mounted side airbags and side-curtain airbags for front and rear passengers. The escape carries-on for 2011 with minimal changes.

2003 subaru forester review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. New design brings more room, better handling. introductionextensively revised for 2003, the second-generation subaru forester adds sports appeal and improved handling. The new forester is roomier than before and comes with new features that move its image slightly upscale. Yet it still combines fuel efficiency, cargo room, safety, and the foul-weather advantages of all-wheel drive.  introduced in the 1998 model year, the forester mini-suv soon became a household word. Subaru's answer to the honda cr-v and toyota rav4 carved a niche and achieved respectable sales. The forester looked more rugged than subaru's impreza sedan and less like a wagon than the outback. Although subaru has sold the best-selling imported wagon in the u. For nearly 20 years, the brand has not been easily categorized. The forester attempts to combine the best of both worlds. It works well as a grocery getter, and excels as a backcountry runabout for family camping trips. The transmissions operate with two different all-wheel-drive systems: manual transmissions use what subaru calls continuous all-wheel drive; automatic transmissions use active all-wheel drive.  new standard features include a 100-watt stereo with cd player, remote keyless entry system, 16-inch sport wheels and variable intermittent windshield wipers. Upgraded standard safety features include a dual-stage deployment front passenger airbag, front-seat head/chest side-impact airbags, active front-seat head restraints, and pretensioners and force limiters on the front seatbelts. An optional xs premium package includes monotone exterior trim and body cladding, a power moonroof and optional leather upholstery with automatic transmission models. An all-weather package is also available. walkaroundsubaru forester has undergone a headlamp-to-tailpipe upgrade for the 2003 model year. A sculpted new aluminum hood improves sightlines for the driver, while reducing weight for improved handling.  the rear is significantly changed, with a unique hexagonal rear gate framed by triangular taillights and blister type rear quarter panels. The rear gate opening size is increased to aid with stowage of gear, and the effort it takes to close the gate has been reduced by 30 percent. Textured gray body cladding encases the lower third of base 2. 5x versions. The cladding is a contrasting steel gray metallic on 2. 5xs models, which come with larger gray metallic foldable, heated exterior mirrors. Bumpers have been designed to absorb impact up to 5 mph for reduced damage during parking lot dings.  forester has a bevy of available factory-installed accessories that add to its versatility. A supporter of tread lightly! A trailer harness connector comes standard. interiorin both trim levels, the new forester adds increased comfort and functionality. A high seating point and adjustable driver's seat are aimed at improving visibility, with improved front seat bolstering and additional for/aft adjustment that increases seat travel. The driver's seat has increased height adjustment and the range of the tilt-adjustable steering column has been improved, as well. Back seat passengers get more leg and head room, with no reduction of cargo volume.  remote keyless entry is standard. Also new are a 100-watt weatherband am/fm/cd stereo, a motorcycle-style instrument cluster (shared with the impreza series), a passenger-side stowage compartment, dual visor vanity mirrors with lids, dual sunglasses storage compartments, illuminated window switches on all doors, a rear window deicer and a remote release fuel door. Wiper blades are now larger, as is the swipe area to improve visibility in inclement weather. The inside rear view mirror is larger for improved visibility to the rear. And the rear wiper now wipes the high-mount stop lamp to keep it clear and more visible in bad weather.  new passive safety features include active front seat head restraints and assist grips for all seating positions. A middle rear seat headrest tucks in for improved driver visibility. Three-point safety belts are standard for all five seats. Child-seat tether anchors are included.  forester's cargo area is average at 32. 0 cubic feet but expands to 63. 1 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down. Two 12-volt outlets are included, in the front cabin and the stowage area, and tie-downs for gear and groceries are standard. Additional stowage areas are provided in the center console. Power windows and locks are standard, as is a full-size spare tire.  the higher-end xs adds leather accents and a six-disc cd changer.  . driving impressionnot long ago, the notion of driving an suv or crossover vehicle on a race track was preposterous or, at the very least, boring. Bumped up it is, but not in the league of these more sophisticated (and more costly) models.  putting the forester to the test at talladega, a superspeedway outside birmingham, alabama, i approached the five-story banking with caution and excitement. Easing the subaru forester's throttle on to full power, i climbed to the top of the 33-degree grade and was quickly traveling at a speed of 100 mph. Level ground was a long way away and a sharp angle to my current path of travel, and looking down gave me a feeling of vertigo. However, the feedback that i got from this crossover suv let me know that there was plenty of grip and good balance, and assured me that its speed and precarious perch were within reason in this controlled environment. Larger front brake rotors have been added to reduce stopping distances.  here, i also found quick throttle response, as well as quick and easy gear shifts. Underneath the skin, forester has a stronger, yet lighter, body structure, which helps reduce the weight of this year's model by almost 100 pounds. In theory, lighter is better because it results in better handling and shorter stopping distances. A rigid chassis is a key element to responsive handling and a quiet ride. The forester boasts an impressive 7. 5-inches of ground clearance. Blocks of wood and other rough materials had been thrown down for us to drive on. The ride was surprisingly comfortable, a benefit of the forester's upgraded suspension.  following the track time, we took a 100-mile-long drive through the talladega national forest and the motorways surrounding the birmingham area. Pluses were the all-new struts that help reduce noise, vibration AM/FM✔ Power Windows✔ Anti-lock Brakes✔ Climate Control✔ CD Changer✔ Passenger Airbag✔ CD Player✔ Sunroof/Moonroof

2003 toyota camry review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. Seamless, flawless transportation. introductionthe toyota camry is the best-selling car in america, the crown jewel of cars in the auto industry. Toyota tells us the name 'camry' comes from kan-muri, which in japanese means 'crown.' that seems appropriate given that the camry outsells such popular gems as the honda accord and ford taurus.  the camry appears to be a perfect transportation appliance, flawlessly performing its duties, never annoying its owner. It rides smoothly, softly over beat-up city streets. The interior is ergonomically excellent, with big climate and audio knobs that are easy to adjust. The seats are comfortable.  the toyota camry was all-new last year. A longer wheelbase brought significantly increased rear-seat legroom. All models now come with remote keyless entry, while the xle model adds fog lights, and a six-disc cd changer for its jbl audio system. Either way, it comes with air conditioning, power windows, power mirrors, power locks and remote keyless entry, a 60/40 split rear seat, and visor vanity mirrors.  se is a sportier version of the le. Higher-rate springs, shocks, and anti-roll bars contribute to crisper handling, along with higher-effort steering and bigger wheels and tires. Outside, black trim at the front end, a spoiler at the rear, and unique black pearl badging distinguish the se. A three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel and lots of bright trim add zing to the interior. Se lists for $20,310 with the manual gearbox, $21,140 with the automatic.  the cushiest camry is the xle, featuring luxury appointments such as wood-grain trim, power driver and passenger seats, automatic air conditioning, an alarm system, a cargo net, and a rear-window sunshade. All-new last year, the v6 develops 192 horsepower at 5300 rpm, and 209 pounds-feet at 4400. Both engines are all aluminum for light weight.  the le v6 lists for $22,260; the se v6 for $23,700; and the xle v6 for $25,405. Look for an all-new solara to debut as 2004 model.  . walkaroundthe toyota camry was totally redesigned last year, but the new look did not stray too far from that of previous models. Ford lost quite a few sales before retreating to a safer design.  so while toyota claims to have put more excitement into the current camry, in truth it looks a lot like the old camry. Ironically, the most-changed elements are the rear deck and taillights, and these have a distinctly taurus flavor. The front of the camry appears to have a bit of lincoln ls in it, thanks to the way the grille cuts into the top edge of the front bumper.  the camry does present a more sculptured appearance, with slightly flared wheel arches and a distinct dual crease line in the hood, the latter leading nicely into the grille. To some extent its smooth lines camouflage its height; the current car stands two inches taller than the pre-2002 model.  . interiorthe toyota camry has a comfortable interior with controls that are simple and easy to operate. Everything is laid out simply.  radio and climate controls are mounted high in the center of the dash for easy access. Three big knobs mounted prominently in the center of the dashboard are used to manually control heating, ventilation, and air conditioning on se and le models. Xle models get automatic climate control with a smooth tactile feel that reminds us of lexus, which set the modern standard. The stereo uses big buttons and knobs that are easy to operate, whether scanning for radio stations or moving between songs on a cd. A navigation system is available for the xle. We found the audio quality poor on the le's optional jbl system.  the instruments are located in a relatively small pod right in front of the steering wheel, with a large half-moon tachometer and matching speedometer. The fuel and temperature gauges are located within the two larger instruments. Lights and windshield wiper/washer controls are on stalks on the steering column, leaving the left lower edge of the dash free of switches.  camry's dashboard is relatively plain, with no large curved surfaces, and it is set relatively high. The dash blends nicely into the door panels, but the cover for the passenger-side air bag is noticeable as the seams show clearly. Many other manufacturers have managed to make the passenger-side air bag invisible.  a wide center console separates the two front bucket seats and contains useful storage areas. The parking brake on the le and se is also located in the center console, whereas the xle gets a foot-operated parking brake.  rear-seat passengers will find the accommodations quite pleasant for a mid-size passenger car. Head- and legroom have increased compared to the previous camry. The rear seat splits 60/40, allowing long objects to pass through from the trunk, although the opening is smaller than it might be. The trunk itself is a decent size and shape. Gooseneck hinges steal valuable space, but are hidden under a cover, reducing the chance that they will damage trunk contents as the lid is closed.  . driving impressiontoyota knows how to build quiet cars with a comfortable ride. Toyota's lexus division has excelled in this area and this expertise appears to have worked its way over to the camry. Engines are quieter than in pre-2002 models, while an innovative engine mounting system further reduces vibration. There is nothing untoward or strange about the camry; it does everything just right. An enthusiast driver would complain that it lacks character, but for the average driver that's a plus. The 2. 4-liter inline-4 is inexpensive and fuel-efficient and provides plenty of power. Computer logic controls the automatic transmission; the car can tell when it is going up hill or down hill and the transmission shifts gears accordingly. It can hold a lower gear longer when necessary to avoid the annoying shifting up and down that occurs in some automatics.  the ride is pleasant, verging on luxurious, with enough cushioning to make passengers feel comfortable. The steering is light but not sloppy. That means it is not connected directly to the engine by a cable; instead, it activates a sensor connected to a computer, just like the controls in modern aircraft. One advantage of this arrangement is that the optional vehicle skid control system can take over the throttle in an emergency and apply just the right amount of throttle and braking to keep the vehicle on a more stable path.  . summarytoyota admits that while few people aspire to own a camry, lots of people recommend a camry to their friends. The camry is what's known as a safe buy. It is in many ways an unremarkable car, except for its total lack of identifiable flaws. It toyota has tried hard to make the latest camry a little more exciting while at the same time making sure it will still transport its occupants from a to b and back without any drama, nor any worries about reliability, year in and year out.  so the toyota camry is not be as exciting as the nissan altima or volkswagen passat. That's why the camry will likely continue as america's most popular new car.  . model lineuple 5-speed m. 2012 honda civic review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. All-new version evolves to meet varied expectations. introductionit's been a bestseller for decades, more than 8. 8 million sold in the u. Since its 1973 introduction, and the latest redesign is aimed at making the honda civic the absolute number one player among an increasingly capable crop of compact cars.  the all-new 2012 honda civic is the ninth generation of the civic, and it has a long, distinguished record of engineering innovation. As has been the case in previous iterations, there's some of that in the 2012 civic models, too, aimed at giving it the broadest possible reach in its market segment.  on the other hand, it's not really the gee-whiz breakthrough that's distinguished some previous generations, particularly in terms of engine innovation. Though to be fair, honda has imbued some models with a little more thrust while simultaneously raising fuel economy ratings right across the board.  perhaps more important, the latest civic will be available in its broadest-ever array of models: the dx, lx, and ex sedans and coupes come with a 140-horsepower 1. 8-liter engine expected to get 28 mpg in the city, 39 mpg on the highway when equipped with the 5-speed automatic transmission.  the civic hybrid continues, with efficiency improvements for 2012. Although honda has a specific hybrid model, the insight, the hybrid returns to the civic lineup with increased power in its integrated electric booster motor and deeper electric power reserves in a new lithium-ion battery pack.  for those who don't wish to pay the hybrid premium, there's the 2012 civic hf, with exceptional fuel stinginess from a regular internal combustion power train designed for thrift. Fuel economy is up in standard civics, too.  the civic si returns as the high output member of the lineup, offered once again in coupe and sedan body styles. With the demise of the s2000 sports car, it's the only high-performance car in honda's lineup. The 2012 civic si features a new engine, a smidgen of additional horsepower, and substantially more torque. The added torque makes the si easier to drive around town without constant downshifting, significant because a 6-speed manual is the only transmission offered.  though completely redesigned, the 2012 civic looks similar to the previous-generation version. Its exterior dimensions are about the same, though the wheelbase is slightly shorter.  the cabin is attractive with quality materials and nicely designed seats with lots of adjustment and a new driver's information display. The available 160-watt audio system sounds very good and bluetooth is available for hands-free cellphone use.  underway, the 2012 civic is creamy smooth and exceptionally quiet. The brakes are easy to modulate for smooth stops in everyday driving and will stop the car quickly when called upon. Handling is average, so the standard models do not rate high on the fun meter. lineupthe 2012 honda civic comes in six models. The 5-speed manual is standard, but the 5-speed automatic is available for the lx sedan 18,655) and lx coupe 18,455).  civic ex sedan 20,505) comes standard with the 5-speed automatic. The eighth-generation civic has been successful throughout its six-plus years, and its sleek lines still look good.  on the other hand, success notwithstanding, no automotive design lasts indefinitely. So the design leader has to find a way to retain the successful elements and still imbue the product with a sense of newness.  the new cars sport redesigned fascias, updated rear ends, and new character lines, but the basic shape, which lead designer toshiyuki okumoto calls a 'one motion form,' has the same flowing aero look. Although the wheelbase is slightly shorter, body dimensions are essentially identical, and it takes a practiced eye to tell new from old at a glance.  although the sheetmetal is basically all new, honda didn't take any chances here. Whether this will be a plus over the long service life of the design remains to be seen.  the distinction between civic generation eight and nine isn't as dramatic as the change from seven to eight, when the slick aero shape first emerged. Honda has chosen to spread its development budget over refinements and a broader model range. interiorquality materials, attractive design, and colorful instrument lighting give the civic interiors a look that's a notch or two above compact norms. The bi-plane look continues in the new car, with important info repeated at the top of the dash, allowing the driver to scan with minimum visual redirection.  forward sightlines, always the driver's first line of defense, were good in the previous generation, but even better here. We appreciated the thinner windshield pillars and mini-window set in the angle where the windshield pillar intersects the car's hood. A lot of new cars have thick a-pillars that can obstruct the driver's view of pedestrians and other vehicles, but not here.  the biggest change inside the car, though is the new i-mid, or intelligent multi-information display. There's considerable body roll in hard cornering, the tradeoff for excellent ride quality. Fuel economy figures were not official but are expected to be about 28 mpg in the city/39 mpg on the highway. Honda recommends regular unleaded gas.  th.
